Synod Youth Council Description
We are . . .a committee of youth (ages 15-21) and youth advisors representing each of the presbyteries, the Black Caucus, and Korean Caucus. We work together encouraging leadership among youth in the church.

What we do . . .plan and carry out a youth leadership-training event, hold positions in various synod committees, oversee the Youth Advisory Delegates at the Synod Assembly and have tons of fun!

Our functions . . .to plan and coordinate the Youth Leadership event, including a keynoter, music person, and an array of workshops in order to teach the youth of our church leadership.

We the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic Youth Council:
Serve as a support group for persons involved with youth and young adult ministries in the Synod and its presbyteries. We sponsor a training retreat within the Synod for persons involved with youth and young adult ministries. We promote and encourage participation in national and regional events and to provide financial support for such participation. We work with the nominating committee in identifying youth and young adults to serve the church. We will address the youth and young adult concerns in the Synod and in society.
