The Synod of the Mid-Atlantic offers grants and designated funds to support leadership development, congregational vitality, innovative ministry, and mission across our region. Each month, we highlight one fund to help churches and leaders better understand—and access—these resources.
Welcome
New and Small Church Grant Fund
Receives and distributes income from the McCallum and Small Church and Manse Loan funds in the form of grants to new and small churches for home mission projects. A brochure and application are available on the Synod’s website or by contacting the Synod Office. Grant requests up to $5,000.00 will be considered. Applications accepted twice each year – Due February 1 and August 1.

The 2026 Men’s Summit of the Presbyterian Men of the Mid-Atlantic will be held this summer at beautiful Massanetta Springs, near Harrisonburg, Virginia.
​
This annual gathering brings together men of all ages for a weekend of inspiring speakers, uplifting worship and music, meaningful small-group conversations, and time for recreation and fellowship in the scenic Shenandoah Valley. Together, participants explore how to share the love of Christ, strengthen the church, and serve their communities.

The Synod of the Mid-Atlantic invites Presbyteries and congregations to encourage men to attend this exciting event, with a special emphasis on welcoming and engaging young adults.
